Continuous Data Protection® (CDP) Standard Edition is high performance disk-based backup software for Windows Servers. After completing one initial replica of all your desired data, CDP can complete virtual full Windows server backups in just minutes. Your data is protected at the block-level and unique disk blocks are only stored once across all recovery points increasing storage efficiency of your Windows backups.
Features Available on our RSYNC Backups RAID-5/6 protected storage
Our servers are equipped with either hardward based RAID-5 or RAID-6, which ensures fast transfer rates and redundancy.
Unmetered Data Transfer
Also known as bandwidth. We do not count individual ingoing and outgoing traffic towards your invoice.
Secure Shell Access
Also known as SSH. We offer jailed shell access for you to transfer and manage your backups. Nobody can access your files, except yourself. SSH keys and Cronjobs are enabled for automation.
File Transfer Protocol Access
Also known as FTP. We offer a FTP account for you to transfer and manage your backups. SFTP is also enabled for you to securely transfer your files.
Rsync Version 3 Support
Rsync is very efficient compared to traditional remote backup methods. By synchronizing only files that have changed, rsync results in large bandwidth savings.
Rdiff-backup Support
Rdiff-backup incrementally backup your files, in different subdirectories. This means that you can revert to specific backup dates, without having to store multiple copies of the same files.
Rsnapshot Support
Using Rsnapshot, it is possible to take snapshots of your filesystems at different points in time. Using hard links, Rsnapshot creates the illusion of multiple full backups, while only taking up the space of one full backup plus differences. By using the 'pull' method, no one can tell that you have setup automatic backups on your server. This prevents hackers from deleting your backup files.
Duplicity Support
Duplicity backs directories by producing encrypted tar-format volumes and uploading them to a remote or local file server. Because duplicity uses GnuPG to encrypt and/or sign these archives, they will be safe from spying and/or modification by the server.
Samba (CIFS) Support
Samba provides seamless file and print services to SMB/CIFS clients. This allows Windows-based clients to access your backup files in 'My Network Places'. You can easily mount your backup account as a file system to use it on the fly.
