Profile - Core Informatics is a privately owned web and creative media firm based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, INDIA. In 2007, We built strong partnership with some very well-known Mumbai based Media agencies and cater to Bollywood & Media giants like UTV Group, UTV Bindass Red Chillies Entertainment, Sahara Group, ASA Productions, NDTV Imagine, Fame Cinemas and RadioOne.

In the beginning....

When we started working with these giants along with our Mumbai based Media Agencies, primary challenge for our team was to deploy secured web environment to deploy all websites and applications.

The first challenge came in September 2007, when we were offered to delivery official website of a blockbuster movie “Om Shanti Om”.  Website and Chat application were developed in Flash and ASP.NET environment. Because of heavy traffic on website to chat with Cast & Crew, it required a high-availability and fully-managed server. After searching some good datacenter (based in US), we chose WIPL to provide us Dedicated Server for Official website of the movie. And it became hassle-free solution for us and our partner agency (in Mumbai). Server ran for 3 months of service period with almost 100% uptime. WIPL not only managed the entire load efficiently but also distributed the content and the load on the servers in a way which made the website’s accessibility very fast and always up.

 

Second instance was in January 2008, for a quiz show “Bollywood Ka Boss” hosted by “Boman Irani” on Filmy Channel (A Sahara One TV Channel). This website not only had content related to show but had poll and quiz where visitors and players were receiving gifts from the sponsors of the show. We decided to choose WIPL once again for Management of Dedicated Server which will run the website, promo engine, online episode videos, quiz, polls etc. This resulted into same almost 100% uptime and hassle-free solution for all of us who were engaged in Web Solution for the show. The site ran flawlessly during the entire show’s life cycle and even during the peak load times we never experienced any downtimes or service failures. Everything ran as expected and at times it was beyond expectation too.
